This is supposed to be limited to Designer Edition and above. Both types can be imported into Silhouette Studio, depending on which level of software you own. Image files can be used to create cut files in Silhouette Studio and are broken down into two categories raster images and vector images. You can see all the file types it will open as you look at the drop-down list next to the file name area. All Silhouette cutting machines use a free included software called Silhouette Studio. Go to your Open icon and navigate to where you have an image file saved. These types of files are, simply put, pictures that you can open in Silhouette Studio®. In addition to working with designs in Silhouette Studio® that you purchase from the Silhouette Design Store or create from scratch, you can also import bitmap, or raster, images. ![]()
